The Carnival Dream made its debut in Europe on September 2009 and
after elaborate inaugural events in New York City, the Dream travels
to Port Canaveral, Florida to begin a schedule of 7-day cruises to the
Caribbean.
The Carnival Dream has 13 passenger decks and carries 3646
passengers. It has an open-air promenade, and other new innovations
such as the largest at-sea water park, expanded children’s area, an
adult-only retreat, and a luxurious 23,750 square foot spa.
Carnival has stepped away from its well-known, glittery Vegas-like
design and the new Dream is bathed in more muted colors giving the
ship’s décor a cool, classy feel.
Agents and media guests were raving about the Dream’s new top-notched
entertainment, with some going so far as to say it’s the best they’ve
ever seen on any cruise ship.
Stay tuned for more information in the upcoming January issue of Pathfinders.
